An industry leader that manufactures lifting and restraining products has an immediate need for a Director of Project Engineering in the northern New Jersey area. The Director of Project Engineering will lead a team of project engineers, will provide internal leadership for engineering programs in terms of overall design, development, analysis, testing, reporting, and business considerations. You will interface with Design, Reliability, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management. Some travel will be required to meet with customers, vendors as necessary. The desired candidate will have a BSME or BSEE, 8 years of prior experience in project engineering and electro-mechancial projects, and prior management experience. A background in heavy industrial or aerospace is desired. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an industry leader.
