R&D Engineer - R&D/Circulator/Electric Motor

IMMEDIATE NEED for a design-heavy R&D Engineer that will be developing new pump and circulator products for our RI client! You will also be responsible for defining all product components from a mechanical design perspective using hydraulic and fluid mechanic concepts, prototyping the designs, and performing validity tests. This work will entail significant interaction with both internal and external clients. Qualified candidates MUST HAVE a BSME or degree in a closely related field; at least 3 years experience designing and developing new products involving electric motors; solid understanding of the hydronics industry, permanent magnetic motors and rotating equipment; and leadership qualities needed to drive projects to completion. Strong Pluses: knowledge in design of wet rotor motors, electronic motor speed controls, compressors and gear trains/drives.
