Leading mechanical contractor company with offices throughout the Eastern US has an immediate need for a Construction Safety Professional for a 6 month Contract position on a project in the metro Raleigh, North Carolina area. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience regarding construction site safety and be at least OSHA 30-Hour Certified. This candidate will conduct field audits, prepare written safety related reports, conduct/attend educational meetings designed to instruct site employees on matters pertaining to safety and health. The candidate will be required to work 6-day workweek due to construction being performed on site for this time frame. Knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations is required. This candidate must have the ability to recognize workplace hazards and implement measures to correct. Overtime will be available. All candidates will be considered, but if not local must be willing to relocate at your own expense due to no per diem offered for this assignment.
