A client located in the metropolitan Atlanta is an immediate need for a Senior Development Engineer for product design and technical development of medical devices for improving Womens Health. Products include both surgical implants and handheld delivery systems for the minimally invasive treatment of these conditions. The position also involves working with physicians to develop new and less-invasive products and procedures to deliver the next generation of urological and gynecological healthcare to patients. Candidates must have e hands-on knowledge of prototyping processes including rapid molding, casting, overmolding and micromolding. In addition the position requires SolidWorks solid modeling or other equivalent 3D modeling software. All candidates applying for this position must have Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering or related Engineering field, from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience. Having 5-8+ years experience in new product design and development with a minimum of 3 years in the Medical Device industry is a major PLUS. With the changing economy this is a great opportunity with a very good organization that really cares about its employees. The company has a very good benefits package including a bonus option if certain goals are achieved. The client will negotiate a relocation package if needed. our client wants to move on this position as soon as possible.
