CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER opportunity for a LONG TERM CONTRACT in Houston, TX. Requires BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and a minimum of 8 years experience in civil structural concrete and steel design experience in the Petrochemical industry. Must be able to perform Civil/Structural detail design and engineering analysis using Staad III or Staad Pro, and be able to perform detail analysis of concrete foundations and steel structures.
Position will work with civil structural designers to develop optimized plant designs and layouts; review design details and basis; perform Civil/Structural detailed design and engineering analysis using Staad III or Staad Pro, and perform detailed analysis of concrete foundations and steel structures; prepare detailed construction bid packages for competitive bidding; and support bid reviews.
Generous Salary based on depth of qualifications and extent of civil / structural design experience, directly related petrochemical plant experience, and education. VERY LONG contract potential so No relo or per diem.

• Please rate your proficiency (on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 high) in performing Civil-Structural detailed design and engineering analysis using Staad III or Staad Pro AND performing detailed analysis of concrete foundations and steel structures.
• Please list your education and any relevant training and certifications.
• Where do you currently reside and when are you available?
