Client located outside of Philadelphia is searching for an Electrical Engineering Manager. This position will manage, plan, direct and coordinate electrical engineering activities of small water and wastewater facility projects to ensure that the objectives of the project are accomplished within schedule and budget. This candidate will review the overall project goals and requirements to determine EE scope, schedule, budget, activity breakdown, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to electrical engineering design & start-up phases of the project. This candidate should be thoroughly experience in the use of electrical diagnostic instrumentation including megohmmeters, multimeters, phase sequence indicators, etc. This candidate should have the ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations. This position requires a BSEE from an accredited four year engineering/technical college or university with 5+ years of experience related to the design, startup and troubleshooting of small water and wastewater facilities. This candidate must be extremely familiar with electrical power distribution, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation and controls associate with water and wastewater applications. AutoCAD experience is required. Extensive knowledge and the ability to apply nationally recognized standards (e.g. NEC, NEMA, IEEE) to electrical designs is required. A PE license is preferred for this position; however, anyone who would be able to receive his or her PE within 6 months of employment will also be considered. Salary is commensurate with experience.Relocation is available for the right candidate.
