Does results oriented, Resourcefulness and going beyond the call of duty describe you? Then this may be the opportunity for you. Our client, who is a privately held international company that operates a network of metal working mills across the United States, has a need for a action oriented Production Manager. The right candidate for this position must not be afraid of challenges and has a roll up the sleeves approach to getting a project done. In this position the Production Manager will direct and manage all production operations with overall responsibilities for short and long term production goals and coordinate other production related activities such as: transforming and continuously improving manufacturing capabilities through the use of lean manufacturing techniques. Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives. Implements and maintains preventive maintenance programs. To be considered you will need a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 to 5 years experience in the transformation of manufacturing processes.Experience Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma tools is preferred. Experience within a Union environment is also an added plus. A very competitive salary and complete benefits is provided.
