EXCITING OPPORTUNITY in Northern Alberta, Canada for a Steam Ticket Engineer: First and Second Class with a major integrated producer and marketer of high quality linerboard and kraft paper. Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience with supervisory experience with strong and effective communications and inter-personal skills with experience in the steam and recovery operation of a kraft pulp and paper mill. You MUST have a Canadian Interprovincial First and Second Class Steam Engineer's Certificate or Alberta First and Second Class Steam Engineer's Certificate. This is Mandatory. Candidates must have required documentation permitted to work in Canada. Specific duties will include directing the Power & Recovery Operations on a shift basis, to maintain maximum quality production in a safe and efficient manner. Constantly seeks ways to control costs and improve efficiency within the mill while complying with environmental regulations. Ensures the Power & Recovery Crews are adequately trained for the proper performance of their duties and have a full understanding of their responsibilities. Must have supervisory experience with strong and effective communications and inter-personal skills. Must be computer literate and able to learn quickly and efficiently.
