Our client, a leading manufacturer of rolled specialty metals located approximately 30 miles north of Pittsburgh, is searching for an Efficiency Engineer who will report to the Superintendent of Rolling. This position will primarily be responsible for leading the day to day efforts to define and reduce all types of losses through continuous improvement efforts and through process / practice changes.

To qualify for this great opportunity, a minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is required along with no less than 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. A preference will be given for previous work with heavy industrial equipment. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications. A background of TPM techniques in a lean manufacturing environment (specifically a cold finishing coiled manufacturing facility), Six Sigma and/or RCM will be considered a plus. Please note that the salary listed is an approximation so all qualified candidates who are organized, motivated, and can work independently as well as part of a team are encouraged to apply for this position that also offers a comprehensive benefits package.

• Please explain any experience with TPM techniques in a lean manufacturing environment and indicate if it is-was in a cold finishing coiled metal manufacturing facility.

• On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the highest), rate your knowledge and skill level with Windows-based applications.

• List any degrees, certifications, licences, and-or training that you feel qualify you for this position.
