Our client in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a dynamic hands-on Process Metallurgist. A BS in metallurgy and minimum of 1 year of experience in the steel industry in metallurgy monitoring quality-related manufacturing processes required. Main duties and responsibilities will include monitoring quality parameters of daily production; overseeing work instructions in floor operations are correctly followed to ensure quality objectives are met; detecting process variations; and identifying potential causes for nonconformance. This is not a research position.
