Strong and successful midsized multi-disciplinary engineering services firm has an immediate need for an experienced Electrical Drafter and Detailer. Excellent long term contract position good office environment possible to go direct. Need applicants with 3-+ years of experience supporting large, heavy industrial (process, power, etc...) plant design build projects. You will need specific experience drafting and detailing lighting, grounding, power, one line design, cable tray, conduit, duct bank, cable routing and equipment layout a necessity. You will be responsible for the creation of plans, details, electrical equipment layout, and electrical raceways, including cable tray, conduit, grounding and underground duct bank systems drawings from conceptual design through to construction issue documents. You need experience usingAutoCAD and doingP&ID's (Process Instrumentation Diagrams). Knowledge of NEC codes and IEC codes and equipment preferred. Prior experience with steel companies or large industrial projects preferred.
