IMMEDIATE NEED!!! Client located in the state of Alabama has an immediate need for a Sr. Structural Design Engineer with a strong background in facilities design. Requirements should include: B.S. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, P.E. license is preferred; Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one is required; 7-10 years design experience; Familiarity with specific material and building codes; Familiarity with seismic analysis preferred; Familiarity with CAD/Microstation is a plus. Responsibilities will include: Design of structural systems mainly utilizing concrete, steel, and/or masonry; Preparing and reviewing drawings and specifications; Coordinating design activities; Providing and managing design and construction budgets and schedules; Providing field support and investigation; Communicating design specifications to a CAD designer for drafting.
