Our client has an exciting opportunity in the Pacific Northwest for a Process Controls Engineer with design, troubleshooting and Implementation of DCS systems, etc. A BS in ChemE, EE, P&PT or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years experience is required. Diving focus will be to apply process engineering and advanced control technology; improve quality, efficiency, production, cost run-ability and environmental impact; manage process control projects; provide training for operators and instrumentation mechanics to achieve mill goals. In addition program the DCS and PLC computer interface to the DCS (controllers, consoles, interfaces, work stations, etc.) Develop or implement code for advanced computer communications system along with a solid understanding of communications hardware.
Equipment used: Power distributions systems (69kV, 13.8kV, 2.4kV & 480V); DC Drive systems (General Electric); AC Drive systems (Toshiba); AC and DC electric motors ; Distributive Control Systems (Bailey, DeltaV); Programmable Logic Controllers (General Electric Control Systems; Process Control Valves and Process Instrumentation. Excellent benefits and salary depending on experience. This is a process controls position, not a process engineering position
