Our client located in the scenic Pacific Northwest has an immediate opening for a Paper Machine Shift Supervisor. A minimum of 7 years supervisory experience within the Pulp and Paper industry, a high school diploma or equivalent is required with a College degree preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for safety, production efficiencies, housekeeping, quality and waste for his or her shift; have the ability to plan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed; assist in resolving complaints and issues; hold employees accountable as needed; and communicate issues and results on daily basis. Must be flexible and willing to work any shift (3 shift position), work overtime and salary commensurate with experience.
