Excellent LONG TERM CONTRACT for a TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT ENGINEER in Houston, TX. Must have BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science and minimum of 5 years experience in process industry related IT support including solid knowledge of Zyqad, as well as, database and object oriented technologies such as C++ and Java. In addition, need experience developing applications using Visual Basic. Need familiarity with Mechanical and Process Equipment datasheets; experienced developing applications using Visual Basic for Applications. A PLUS to have familiarity with Citrix and Oracle.

Position will support the use of Zyqad Common Core Data Model including maintaining and configuring the model, related datasheets and symbols, Zyqad Knowledge Base Rules using Visual Basic, 'Zyqad System Administration using a Citrix Client / Zyqad Server Architecture with an Oracle database, and training.

Generous Salary based on experience, qualifications, and education/training. VERY LONG contract therefore no relo or per diem.
