Location: Houston, TX, USA
Position located in the Houston, TX metro area. Posted salary includes salary and bonus. Relocation assistance available, or available to work from your home office within the Greater Houston Metro area. Must have a BS Engineering degree with proven understanding of GE Turbines either steam or gas. Must know the process involved with power generation for an utility plant and or cogen facility. Must have knowledge of how GE turbines operate through previous Operations support, or OEM service and outage support, or other third party vendor services companies like Wood Group. Previous controls experience for GE or other turbines is a plus. On the job training will be given on controls products and selling techniques. Up to 50% travel to sites and customer visits. Establish relationships with I&C level customers and key decision makers at the power plants or cogen facilities (ie - refinery, or other heavy industrial sites). Identify opportunities for both short term and long term sales development. Provide input on pricing, key buying factors and key customer contacts and decision makers for all project opportunities. Provide a win/loss analysis on all major bid results.

• Do you have a BS Engineering degree ?

• Explain your experience with GE steam or gas turbines and or controls for steam or gas turbines for power utility companies or cogen facility?

• Describe a time when your knowledge of GE turbines made the difference on a project ?

• How much experience do you have with turbine controls, instrumentation and systems ?
