IMMEDIATE NEED!!! Client located in the state of Pennsylvania has an immediate need for Mechanical Engineers with extensive product design experience. This is a 1 year contract position. The primary focus of this position is product development and design of process instruments and systems from conception to delivery to the customer. Requirements should include: A B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline, an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PE are preferred; 10 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer; Solid Works or AutoCAD experience; Knowledge of materials, heat transfer, and thermal design; Design for manufacturability experience; Familiarity with product safety and compliance standards for both North America and European markets; Product verification and validation testing. Specific design experience with process analyzers, optical instruments, vacuum systems, and mass spectrometers is a plus. Excellent opportunity to work for a leader in the industry.
