Web Catalog Content Engineer is currently needed for a position in New York City, Manhattan area. Candidates will need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Concentration in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred. 2 or more years in a engineering design, development or production environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Excess. Knowledge of website creation and internet search logic are a plus. Excellent writing and verbal skills. Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to provide high level customer service. The web content engineer will design and manage the creation of on-line product catalogs for industrial and manufacturing clients. Conduct calls to identify and document the client's needs for data creation and establish detailed catalog requirements. Provide technical direction and guidance to produce the data in accordance with the catalog design plan. Interview custom manufacturing clients and write website copy about their services and capabilities. Act in a consultative role to advise clients on the best approach for authoring their catalog with regard to technical requirements.
