IMMEDIATE NEED with a company headquartered in Madison, WI, which specializes in design/build of R&D facilities. Client is searching for an INSTRUMENTATION and CONTROLS ENGINEER to join their team on a direct hire basis. The successful candidate must have a BSEE with 10 years experience in the design/build/programming of PLC and data acquisition systems. The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will be responsible for Programming/integrating PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon), purchasing control system components, creating P&IDs, control sequences, wiring diagrams, and design specifications. This position requires an understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and their associated controls. Must be able to travel to customer facilities for design meetings, equipment installation supervision, and commissioning. Projects are mainly located in the midwest and across the United States, but there may be opportunity to travel outside the U.S. for some projects.
