Immediate Need for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with P.E.!!! The position is to manage the Process Engineering Design Group, consisting of three engineers, a plumbing designer and up to three CAD staff. The Group prepares contract documents for mechanical systems for the construction of food processing facilities across the US and abroad. Some travel is required to customer facilities The right candidate will have a Professional Engineer (mechanical), licensed to practice in at least one State and eligible to apply to practice in other States. Minimum 12 years of mechanical engineering experience in the design of HVAC systems, plumbing systems and utilities systems, for commercial and industrial facilities. Candidate will also have had experience with steam, compressed air, high-pressure wash water, hydraulics, vacuum, process water, chilled water (glycol), hot oil, natural gas, and fuel oil. Other systems related to the food industry such as sucrose, brine, vegetable oil, liquid nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. Plumbing systems related to the welfare and office areas and food plant waste and drainage systems in compliance with USDA recommendations. While the position is to manage the mechanical group, the manager is expected to also provide design services for individual projects.
