Immediate need!!! A well established software/product development and IT consulting company is aggressively searching for a VB.NET Programmer in the Midtown, NY area. Required skills include: expertise in database design, creation of computer programs, testing programs to validate the accuracy of both process and data, and the integration of new programs with integrated software packages. Candidates must have good technical knowledge of the computer infrastructure including servers, client server and Internet capabilities ( VB.NET / MS SQL Server / SQL / XML / ASP.NET / WINFORMS ). This position is also responsible for researching technical solutions, recommending a course of action regarding programming language, techniques, database design and testing protocols, assisting in development and deployment of in house. NET applications, and troubleshooting and resolving programming and database problems. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and MUST have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as, minimum 5 years of experience.
