Immediate Need for Entry Level or recent Mechanical Engineer Graduate. This position requires a 4 year degree in mechanical engineering, and experience within a manufacturing environment would be considered a plus. Experience in a secondary or primary aluminum production operation is also helpful but not required. This is an excellent entry level position which allows candidate to grow with a stable, industry leading aluminum recycling facility. As an entry level position the candidate is expected to apply their theoretical engineering knowledge to the machines and processes within facilities. Ideal candidate must have willingness to learn the equipment functionality and a spirit for improvement that will improve the overall operation. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to; provide engineering support for new equipment projects and start ups. Participate in plant wide mechanical project reviews. Perform equipment reliability studies to improve performance. Work within a team environment to improve plant production. Participate in the planning and executing of plant outages. Provide input to the annual capital plan and associated updates and reports. Assist in troubleshooting complex systems when required. Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing the necessary procedures to identify, eliminate and control EHS risks. Full medical, dental and 401k benefits are available.
