IMMEDIATE NEED FOR CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATORS: Positions available for Supervisor, Senior and Junior level Estimators: Large mid-western company has need of Project Construction Estimators with experience in development of transmission and sub-station project estimates and maintaining historical data. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent with a minimum of 4 to six years experience in sub-station, transmission line or planning. Must have a working knowledge of reporting tools (software systems) and in preparation of construction estimates from drawings and bill of materials. Experience in developing spreadsheets for major substation and line work projects: showing projects costs, man-hours and cost per man-hour / mile. Experience in review and monitoring project detail if estimates for accuracy and completeness. Must be experienced in project close-outs, including cost reporting, historical data, and final acceptance of projects. Supervisory level will have experience with leading and supervising of other estimators, assisting engineering and project managers in developing, monitoring and completions of projects. Requires occasional overnight travel to various project sites. Excellent oral and written communication is required. Per Diem will be considered for these positions.
Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your Project Construction Estimator experience in development of transmission and sub-station project estimates and maintaining historical data.

• Describe your estimating experience in sub-station, transmission line or planning. Describe your knowledge of reporting tools (software systems) and in preparation of construction estimates from drawings and bill of materials.

• Describe your experience in developing spreadsheets for major substation and line work projects: showing projects costs, man-hours and cost peer man-hour - mile. Experience in review and monitoring project detail if estimates for accuracy and completeness. • Describe your experience in project Close-outs, including cost reporting, historical data, and final acceptance of projects. If applying for the Supervisor level, describe your experience with leading and supervising of other estimators, assisting engineering and project managers in developing, monitoring and completions of projects.
