EXPERIENCED FINANCIAL ANALYST needed to work for a leading manufacturer in Southwest, NJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of financial information which is necessary for understanding period results, profitability trends, budget variances and sales reporting. Duties include preparing financial analysis on new product development, supporting various pricing options, coordinating the annual budget process and various analytical and statistical reports. In addition, examine budget and forecast estimates for completeness, accuracy and conformance to procedure, prepare bridge analysis of performance against budget, prior period and forecast, develop appropriate financial models for specific projects. Conduct special financial and business related studies as requested. A BS degree in Accounting or Finance is required. An MBA in Finance or currently enrolled in graduate program preferred. Must have at least 3-4 years experience in financial modeling with demonstrated technical proficiency in accounting principles and financial modeling. Strong computer skills in Excel, SAP, Cognos or similar financial consolidation software required. Must be able to accumulate data, interpret and analysis information quickly, and make meaningful recommendations based on the data. Superior organization skills with the ability to consistently deliver high quality work in a timely manner. Salary listed is estimate only.
