IMMEDIATE NEED! Client in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida is actively looking for an experienced Technical Trainer / Manager to develop and conduct programs to train distributor technicians, dealer technicians, customers, end users, United States Coast Guard, Navy, Navies & Armies and company personnel on the repair, maintenance, and diagnostic procedures of MTU and MTU-DD engines. The Trainer MUST HAVE an Associates Degree in Diesel Engine Technology or equivalent and four (4) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training. Factory training and manufacturers certification as MTU Engineer highly desired! Must have technical knowledge of MTU-DD products! Previous experience working as a trainer in a marine, mining or electric power-generating environment would be useful. Previous experience as a skilled Technician with exposure to the MTU family of engines 2 and 4-cycle, common rail and low voltage engine control systems desired! Knowledge of marine product lines such as; Cummins and Caterpillar marine engines would be helpful. Candidate will be responsible for but not limited to; conducting training classes for experienced technicians in servicing, minor & major repairs, and complete overhauls of engines that the company sells and services to the marine market. Applicants MUST hold valid drivers license, passport and be willing to travel outside of the country for training.

• Do you have previous experience working as a trainer in a marine, mining or electric power-generating environment?
