PLANT TECHNICIAN needed with METSO papermill QCS quality measurement control systems experience in eastern Texas. Requires 8+ years related experience for a paper making facility. A PLUS to have AS Degree or related vocational degree. Need working knowledge of METSO gauging equipment for paper mill paper making machines for gauging moisture, caliper/thickness, weight, color and the associated upstream actuators. Prefer experience with any of DNA Network, ACN Processing Technology, Paper IQ, and VME. No travel required.

Position will team in supporting plant production troubleshooting paper quality control systems for paper mill paper making machines measuring paper moisture, caliper/thickness, weight, color and the associated controls and calibrating upstream actuators and controls for adjusting production run to specification.
