IMMEDIATE OPENINGS with a leading marine engineering company located in Jacksonville, FL. Client is searching for a STEEL LEADERMAN to join their team on a direct hire basis. The successful candidate must have an Associates degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school and 8+ years of marine related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Steel Leaderman must have comprehensive knowledge of the steel department. The candidate will be directly in charge of production on the job site and will be responsible for layout and fabrication of metal structural parts such as plates, bulkheads, decks and frames. In addition, the Steel Leaderman will determine material needs and orders accordingly. Company offers an excellent benefits package and salary is commensurate with experience.
