Location: Portland, ME, USA
Client, a leading independent energy services company in North America, is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their operation in the Portland, Maine area.

Responsibilities:

-> Partner with Project Teams in the development, design, and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers
-> Plant start-up and commissioning
-> Coordinate visits to customer project sites to investigate existing electrical systems
-> Gather and document energy performance information, such as utility data and facility infrastructure drawings
-> Perform detailed engineering assessment including baseline profiles, end-use and retrofit analysis
-> Identify opportunities for conservation or efficiency and prepare energy savings calculations

Requirements:

-> BSEE or equivalent four year technical engineering degree with 5+ years energy efficiency and / or renewable technology experience
-> Must demonstrate ability to analyze and quantify energy savings and implement complex projects involving controls, power generation, distribution, utility interconnection, and / or building automation systems
-> Knowledge of electrical codes, regulatory standards, and permitting requirements
-> Professional registration or education progress toward EIT, PE, CEM, LEED desirable
-> Wind and Solar projects are a plus
-> Landfill Gas expert
