Operations Manager - Turbine/Welding/Testing

Searching for an Operations Manager with power generation welding and testing experience to manage second shift welding operations in St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for managing welding operations that provide services to clients in the power generation industry
-> Provide technical support and direction to second shift welders and inspectors
-> Provide verbal and written training to Welders and Inspectors as needed to maintain their proficiency.

Requirements:

-> BS/BA Degree or equivalent, demonstrated, experience
-> 7+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
-> This position requires knowledge of ASME Codes for repair, inspection, and testing of steam and gas turbine generation equipment

Questions you will be asked:

• Do you hold a BS-BA Degree or equivalent experience? If a Degree, in what discipline and where was it earned? If claiming equivalent experience, describe in detail. Please do not use -refer to my resume- or similar responses

• Do you have 7+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in a metal fabrication-welding environment? Where and when?

• Describe you experience using NDE techniques such dye penetrant, mag particle. Where and when?

• Do you hold, or are you eligible to obtain, a U.S. Passport should factory training be necessary?

• What has been you experience with TIG welding? Where and When?
