Excellent SR MECHANICAL ENGINEER career opportunity at well respected firm in northern Wisconsin. Must be authorized to work in the USA. No sponsorship or Visa.

Responsibilities:

-> Evaluate operational, performance, production, maintenance, and reliability issues and initiate changes or new optimized designs to improve the manufacturing process
-> Perform root cause analyses and provide recommended solutions
-> Lead multidiscipline teams on product or process improvement on projects with scopes up to $30 million from assessment, design, and implementation of capital improvements or major maintenance
-> Provide support for internal functions including operations, maintenance, and engineering

Requirements:

-> Minimum BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology. Will consider relevant AS Degree with related compensating experience
-> Need 10 to 15+ years related experience in a variety of technical, operational, or maintenance environment and interfacing with external technical equipment and services vendors
-> Ability to lead multidiscipline project teams in assessment, design, and implementation of capital improvements or major maintenance
-> Good interpersonal communication skills
-> A PLUS to have solid experience in Manufacturing and Maintenance
-> A BIG PLUS to have solid experience in paper making process including process and capacity improvements as apart of major capital projects
