O&M Manager - Paper Mfg./Operations/Maintenance

VERY HOT NEED: Large company has an immediate need in the Southern area of the U.S for a Operations & Maintenance Manager for a Pulp and Paper facility. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for ensuring paper quality field performance
-> Responsible for in-mill paper testing effectively predicts paper performance
-> Must ensure reliable communication between manufacturing and technical services, ISRs, sales and marketing is accomplished
-> Responsibilities include managing effectiveness and development of process engineers

Requirements:

-> Requires a Bachelors degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
-> Requires a minimum of 10 years experience in the Pulp and Paper industry. Technical Manager with Pulp/Paper and Environmental experience preferred
-> Requires experience with direct process improvements and product development or modification
-> Experience in managing costs related to area of responsibility, as measured by the budget
-> Experience with managing the integrity, accuracy and improvement of the lab results and data systems
-> Experience should include providing Production Planning and Sales organization with timely and accurate manufacturing information
-> Must be compliant w/ all company policy and culture while being technically sound with industry practices and modern technology
