Engineering Manager - Structural/Civil/Design/Bridge/Highway 115-140 K/yr

Location: Edmonton, AB, Canada
Client located in Edmonton, Alberta Canada is actively looking for a Bridge Engineering Manager with a solid background in the design of highway bridges to assist the Transportation Group with comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of airports and aviation, bridge, rail, roadway, and transit projects, while mentoring and managing junior staff.

Responsibilities:

-> Lead project teams and supervision of design engineers, technicians and construction inspectors
-> Analysis and design of highway bridges and other structures
-> Business development and client management
-> Project management and engineering review of design drawings
-> Tender document preparation, quantities and contract management
-> Prepare proposals, studies and report writing

Requirements:

-> BS Structural or Civil Engineering Degree
-> 10+ years of Highway Bridge Design experience
-> Registered Professional Engineer or eligible for registration with APEGGA
-> Experience with Canadian Highway Bridge Codes and AT (Alberta Transportation) standards
-> Good communication and writing skills
-> Class B Bridge Inspector desired, not required
