Technician - Assembler/Manufacturing/Production

Location: Eau Claire, WI, USA
Client located just north of Eau Claire, WI is actively looking for experienced Assemblers for their manufacturing plant. This position is a 6+ month contract assignment that works the night shift 5pm - 3am and has overtime. NO Per Diem!

Responsibilities:

-> Checks orders, specifications, process documentation or sample to determine work procedure
-> Recognize errors and advises engineering of any corrections or potential improvements in the work process
-> Follow engineering prints, blueprints, schematics and wiring diagram
-> Follow assembly procedures to determine necessary parts and proper assembly methods
-> Obtain necessary parts for assembly and organize work area to facilitate manufacturing, assembly, and test
-> Set-up or adjust necessary equipment and perform some preventative maintenance
-> Plus other assigned duties

Requirements:

-> Experience using various production machines and bench assembly techniques
-> Experience using hand and air/power tools
-> Able to perform mechanical and electrical assembly operations
-> Assemble products such as generator components, control panels/boxes, load transfer control systems
-> Skilled with various wiring procedures including: connecting output leads, wiring electrical harnesses and control boxes, point to point wiring of components
-> Able to inspect quality of own work and work of others using various electrical/voltage tests during assembly
-> Automotive industry experience helpful, but not required
