A diversified energy company is seeking a Manager of IT / Technology Sourcing for a direct hire career opportunity in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for leading the organization that evaluates and determines the most cost-effective and efficient means of sourcing, acquiring and delivering all technology and telecommunication products and services
-> Position oversees sourcing specialists in the categories of computer hardware/software, business application software, telecommunications equipment, wireless and wire-line telecommunications technologies/services, infrastructure and monitoring products

Requirements:

-> Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Technology or related field or an equivalent combination of education/experience
-> Seven to nine years of IT sourcing experience required
-> Advanced degree in a related field preferred
-> Knowledge, understanding and experience in elements of supply chain including strategic sourcing, contracting, purchasing, planning and forecasting, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supplier relationship management
-> Demonstrated experience in sourcing, contract development and negotiation preferred
-> A strong analytical and financial background
