Our client is one of the largest Consulting Engineering Firm in NY is currently seeking a Senior Commissioning Project Engineer to be fully responsible for the planning and execution of all aspects of commissioning from the scoping and proposal stage through close out with a potential of becoming an integral part of their Energy Group that focus on Green Energy Projects.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for the planning and execution of all aspects of commissioning
-> Responsible for developing/analyzing energy conservation measures for proposals
-> Lead others in the energy service group in providing commissioning services
-> Capable of leading Cx meetings for design and construction teams and participating in LEED design and status meetings
-> Capable of creating commissioning and M&V specifications, pre-functional and functional test procedures
-> Capable of witnessing functional tests, logging open items, preparing and presenting reports, and following up on open items lists

Requirements:

-> A Bachelor of Science in BSME, BSAE or BSEE
-> Eight (8) years minimum U.S. Consulting and Commissioning experience
-> Experience in commissioning requirements of LEED
-> Knowledge of automation and controls systems, HVAC systems, gas distribution systems, commercial refrigeration, fire alarm/life safety systems and lighting controls
-> Knowledge of design of mechanical and electrical systems for commercial, institutional and light industrial facilities
-> Knowledge of building and energy codes as well as energy and commissioning standards
-> Has experience in performing commissioning design reviews and working with design teams ensure their documents reflect the owners design intent
-> Has experience in the review of shop drawings and submittals
-> Professional Registration, PE, or EIT are preferred
-> CCP, CEM or LEED accreditations are preferred
