Machinist - CNC/Setup/Fabrication

Client is seeking a CNC Machinist for its production facility in the Fort Walton Beach, FL area. This is a direct hire position. Local candidate preferred. All qualified candidates encouraged to apply. Pay DOE.

Responsibilities:

-> Perform advanced level machining operations in accordance with blueprints
-> Measure parts to close tolerances using precision measuring devices
-> Apply principles of physics to part fabrication
-> Operate machines such as mills, lathes, drills, and saws
-> Program, set-up, and operate numeric controlled equipment when needed
-> Perform reaming and boring operations
-> Grind tool bits and radius on end mill drills
-> Design, set-up, and troubleshoot machinery when needed
-> Comply with all safety requirements

Requirements:

-> High school education, or equivalent, and 8+ years of experience with CNC Machine set-up
-> Must be able to fabricate parts to drawings and have working knowledge of geometric tolerance
-> Must have good understanding of all machining operations and be able to operate all equipment in shop
