Excellent opportunity for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER at a growing firm in Boston, MA supporting the power industry. Involves engineering and design of power generation related Rotating Machinery system including analysis, dynamic physical simulation, and modeling as well as modeling and design of system controls.

Responsibilities:

-> Perform dynamic simulations of rotating equipment and perform fluid and thermal analysis
-> Develop mechanical designs using solid modeling tools
-> Write equipment specifications and technical reports

Requirements:

-> BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (A PLUS to have MSME)
-> Need SOME COMBINATION of the FOLLOWING -
-> Rotating electromechanical machinery analysis
-> Experience with rotating equipment mechanical structural assemblies
-> Dynamic physical simulation and modeling of rotating machines
-> System-level controls modeling and design of dynamic equipment
-> Working knowledge of common system-analysis codes preferably Bladed, FAST, or Adams but also MATLAB and Simulink
-> Need good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
