Excellent GIS TRAINING COORDINATOR opportunity in North Carolina. Requires active US Secret Clearance, ESRI Trainer Certification, and ESRI GIS teaching experience. Travel up to 20%. Temp-to-Perm opportunity for the right candidate. No relo or per diem.

Responsibilities:

-> Coordinate and lead GIS training program
-> Plan, develop, prepare training materials and user guides, and teach GIS training program
-> Manage program implementation including updating with lessons learned and best practices

Requirements:

-> Bachelor required, Prefer GIS, Geography, Engineering, Science, or equivalent
-> MUST HAVE U.S. Secret Clearance
-> MUST BE ESRI Trainer Certification
-> MUST HAVE ESRI GIS teaching experience
-> Need experience and ability in developing, leading, managing, and implementing a GIS training program
-> Requires proficiency with ESRI software (ArcGIS, ArcSDE, etc.) including data processing experience such as conversions, projections, standards, and metadata
-> Need understanding of spatial data standards such as SDSFIE & Database Design
-> Excellent presentation and organizational skills

• Please verify you have US Secret Clearance, you are an authorized ESRI certified trainer, and list how much GIS teaching experience you have? Please list your education and relevant training and certification.

• Please Rate your Proficiency (on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 high) with ESRI software (ArcGIS, ArcSDE, etc.) including data processing experience such as conversions, projections, standards, metadata.

• Please list the number of years and characterize your experience with Access 2000, Excel 7.0, GIS, MS Word 7.0, Outlook 98, and Power Point (PC) AND characterize your experience with spatial data standards such as SDSFIE & Database Design; GPS equipment use (e.g., Trimble GeoXH) and field data collection; data conversion from CAD to GIS, spatial database development and maintenance; industry standard GIS software; web-GIS environments; engineering activities and related GIS data maintenance and management in a geodatabase environment; and application of GIS in a site management setting.

• Please summarize your GIS Trainer or Instructor experience related to developing and presenting a training program also summarizing the scope of the training program.
