Location: Nashville, TN, USA
Client located in Nashville, TN is actively looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a 6+ month contract assignment for their production plant. Product being produced will be filters for engines for over the road trucks class 6, 7, and 8. The filters are both spin on and modular and are for oil, fuel, air and water.

Responsibilities:

-> Aid in the overall improvement of the current production process
-> Will assist with the design of new products & processes and improve & maintain existing products
-> Conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to ensure designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable

Requirements:

-> Bachelors Engineering or Technical degree
-> 3+ years of manufacturing experience from the food or pharmaceutical industry
-> 3 years of PPAP and Blueprint reading experience
-> 5 years of Project Management and Constraint Capacity Analysis experience
-> Strong background in cost improvement, cost reduction and complete scope of project cost
