Location: Newport, RI, USA
Manufacturer specializing in military products is in search of a Senior Drafter for an immediate contract position. Salary commensurate with experience. There is NO Relocation for this position. Local South East Rhode Island candidates are HIGHLY encouraged to apply!!!

Requirements:

-> Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance
-> Must have six or more years in-depth SolidWorks modeling and mechanical design experience
-> Must have three or more years Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (3D modeling)
-> Must have strong experience working aboard or supporting installations on submarines

Questions you will be asked:

• You must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US DOD security clearance. Can you meet these qualifications?

• How many years of hands on experience do you have with SolidWorks modeling and mechanical design experience? How many years hands on experience do you have working with various ASME codes?

• We require three or more years of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. How many years do you have and please rate your skill level.

• Rate your hands on experience with the following Class Submarines (0-5best):SSN 688? SEAWOLF? VIRGINIA? SSBN 726? and SSGN?

• Are you able to take a contract job in ithe Middletown, Rhode Island area with intention of permanent placement after six months of successful employment?
