Field Service Engineer - GE/Steam/Turbine

Location: Orlando, FL, USA
Searching for either Contract or Direct Hire Field Service Engineer(s) with GE Steam Turbine power generation equipment experience. This is a work from Home Office assignment. The position does require extensive travel during outage seasons.

Responsibilities:

-> Assess relevant inspection data & prepare reports, repair options, and technical solutions
-> Direct and supervise engineers and technical specialists in the repair and maintenance of Steam Turbine power generation equipment
-> Participate in the disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of Steam Turbine and Power Generation equipment
-> Interface with clients, engineering, and technical staff to on a regular basis to insure a competent and timely completion of the assignment

Requirements:

-> BS in Engineering or equivalent in relevant work experience with steam turbine power generation equipment
-> 5+ years GE steam turbine power generation experience in outage execution
-> Experience assessing and implementing repair solutions of steam turbines for the power generation industry
-> Understanding of all facets of the disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of Steam Turbine and Power Generation equipment
-> Competent using MS Project and Primavera

• Do you hold a BS in Engineering or equivalent in relevant work experience with steam turbine power generation equipment. If Degree, in what discipline and where was it earned? If equivalent experience, please, without stating -see resume- describe in detail

• Describe your 5+ years steam turbine power generation experience in outage execution. Where and when?

• Has it been your responsibility as a Field Service Engineer to participate in the disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of Steam Turbine and Power Generation equipment? Where and When?

• Have you been directly responsible for assessing inspection data & preparing reports, repair options, and technical solutions for power generation projects? When and Where

• Are you available for unrestricted travel as needed?
