A leading chemical manufacturing company in Northeast, NJ is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with Six Sigma experience to work for them. Position is short term contract.

Responsibilities:

-> The qualified candidate will provide overall leadership and direction pertaining to management of Engineers and Lab Technicians
-> Evaluate and make recommendations pertaining to quality management procedures and methods
-> Analyze, report and manage ISO and other total quality performance systems
-> Ensure proper training and testing as necessary in the Quality Lab

Requirements:

-> A Bachelors Degree in a Chemical related field and at least 5 years strong experience in a Quality Assurance role
-> Strong Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma product development and process improvement experience
-> Strong ability to evaluate and make recommendations related to manufacturing process issues
-> Experience motivating and managing direct reports using continuous improvement activities to improve processes
-> Familiar with specialty chemicals and product quality implementation requirements
-> Experience with catalyst is a huge plus
