Maintenance Superintendent - Line/Maintenance/Supervisor 75-90 K/yr

Client, a wholesale electric power supplier, is currently seeking a Line Maintenance Superintendent for their location in the Albuquerque, NM area.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating operations and maintenance services for transmission lines
-> Ability to effectively coordinate work of technical personnel
-> Must be willing to work around high voltages peculiar to the electrical utility industry
-> Must be capable of satisfactorily interpreting and teaching plan and profile documentation, structural diagrams and other related technical documentation

Requirements:

-> Ten (10) years of combined education and experience in electrical transmission line maintenance
-> The equivalent of technical training received in an associate degree program in electric utility maintenance with studies in transmission structures, aerial conductors / insulating assemblies and equipment usage (i.e. aerial manlifts, hot sticks, climbing tools)
-> Six (6) years of practical experience and / or be able to demonstrate knowledge in maintenance of electrical transmission
-> Two (2) years of practical experience in field operations, supervising personnel with lead supervisor responsibilities
-> Extensive knowledge of transmission line material, equipment, construction, and maintenance standards and practices
