Maintenance Superintendent - Mining/Maintenance/Superintendent

A leading producer of concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients is currently seeking a Mine Maintenance Superintendent for a full time position in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Responsibilities:

-> Coordinating, developing, and enhancing the underground maintenance program, equipment rebuilds, and shutdown schedules, and maintenance budget control
-> Managing/supervising people (setting goals, employee safety, promoting company/department goals, etc)
-> Project management of operating and capital projects
-> Troubleshooting problems in the mine
-> Underground mechanical engineering support

Requirements:

-> Engineering degree with a focus in the Mechanical area is preferred
-> Over 10 years of experience in maintenance is required along with supervisory experience in an underground mining environment
-> Strong communication, leadership, people management, budget control and decision making skills
-> Knowledge of the Collective Agreement, OH&S codes, and Mine Regulations
-> Preference for living in small towns and communities (PLUS)
