Maintenance Superintendant - Superintendent/Mechanical/Maintenance 85-100 K/yr

VERY HOT NEED: Large company has an immediate and HOT need in the Southern area of the U.S for a Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent of a Pulp and Paper facility. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

-> Must be able to develop and execute maintenance processes relating to people, methods, materials, machinery, and process to maximize profitability of facility
-> Responsible for ensuring that outages are planned, scheduled, and executed on schedule, within budget, and accomplish intended tasks
-> Responsible for assisting in the planning of shutdowns
-> Responsible for communicating to the operations superintendent repair options and potential risks
-> Responsible for follow up after maintenance work to identify opportunities to improve performance on similar work in the future
-> Responsible for working with Planner/Schedulers to ensure efficient use of labor and material resources and communication with operations personnel

Requirements:

-> Degree is not required but must have either BSME or extensive Mechanical Maintenance experience and multiple years experience as a Superintendent of Mechanical Maintenance in an industrial environment
-> Experience with maintenance of production equipment and support systems
-> Experience with maximizing equipment availability for quality production at optimum cost
-> Experience with developing preventive maintenance plan for the area of assignment
-> Experience with safety and compliance of area maintenance as defined in the Health and Safety Manual
-> Must be able to lead the performance of Maintenance Mechanics assigned to area in meeting equipment availability targets
-> Experience with failure analysis of significant or repeat failures to eliminate occurrence
