Client, specialized in Video and Audio technologies, is currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager for their location in the Sioux Falls, SD area. Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for efficiently and effectively managing the entire design process for all assigned projects, centered around embedded product development, from start to finish
-> Will be responsible for leading a design team consisting of Software, Firmware, Hardware, & Mechanical Engineers
-> Understanding of most major technical disciplines associated with digital video / audio product design, integration, and testing for video / audio broadcast, cable, IP, and satellite
-> Understanding of Conditional Access Systems and Network Management Systems
-> Able to understand a wide technology base (hardware, software, PCB design, mechanical, etc.)

Requirements:

-> At least 7+ years related experience in Project Management in embedded product development
-> Familiar with processing of various types of media streams, including digital and audio compression formats such as MPEG1/2/4, H.264, AVC, and VC-1
-> Knowledgeable in digital communications methods, including QAM, VSB, QPSK, 8PSK, and COFDM
-> Experience in audio coding standards such as Dolby Digital, AC-3, AAC, HE-AAC, and Dolby Digital Plus
-> A BSCS, BSSE, or BSEE required. A MS degree is a plus
