THINK has a 6 month+ contract job opportunity for a Buyers Assistant! Super opportunity to learn, strengthen your skills and work with a great company in the Ft Wayne, Indiana area.

Responsibilities:

-> Perform whatever action is necessary to solicit quotations on business as directed by buyer
-> Retrieve blueprints, send out requests for quotations (RFQ), and summarize any returned quotes
-> Maintain supplier name and address files as well as any other relevant data, issue purchase orders, add any necessary information to contracts as needed

Requirements:

-> B.A. or B.S. in Business or Engineering
-> 3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment or purchasing department
-> 3-5 years experience with MRP/Purchase Order/Accounting systems
-> Professional attitude that is able to effectively interface with team by providing strong customer service & expediting skills
-> Ability to work with tight time constraints

• Please describe your experience working with MRP, PO and other Accounting Systems.
