Location: Chester, VA, USA
Searching for a Unix Server System Engineer to support one or more public agencies in the Richmond Metro Area for a 6- 12 month contract assignment.

Responsibilities:

-> Support one or more agencies as a Unix System Engineer
-> Use personal vehicle to travel from location to location as needed. Expenses will be reimbursed

Requirements:

-> 3-5 years of HP UX 11.x System Administration experience
-> BS Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
-> Experience building, installing, and configuring Logical Volume Management
-> On call, evening and weekend work will be required
-> Relevant experience with Service Guard -Networks, Routers, Firewalls, Desktop OS -Linux, Novell and Windows operating systems -Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) -Backup & Storage -SAV -Peregrine -Sharepoint -RSA -SQL

• Do you hold a BS in Computer Science or Information Technology? In What discipline and where was it earned?

• Describe your 3- 5 years experience as a HP UX 11.x Systems Administrator. Where and When?

• Do you have Service Guard, Network, Router, Firewall, Desktop OS, Linux, Novell and Windows operating systems, Windows Server Update Service, Backup & Storage, SAV, Peregrine, Sharepoint, RSA & SQL experience? Where and When?

• Are you willing to use your personal vehicle for business travel?

• If selected for the position are you willing to start immediately?
