Operations Manager - Chemical/Dissolution/Solids 95-110 K/yr

Global specialty chemicals company is seeking an Operations Specialist to join their team in southern Louisiana. They are well recognized for their strong technology position in performance materials, functional chemicals and the organics and service clusters.

Responsibilities:

-> Producing and shipping quality products consistently
-> Implement cost reduction measures when and where possible
-> Enforce HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental) compliance as set forth under OSHA, FDA and companies policy
-> Manager will drive execution of the operations to achieve targeted performance levels as measured by key World Class Manufacturing
-> Able to conduct investigations, develop root causes, and develop/deliver corrective actions
-> Manage, train and motivate employees to excel

Requirements:

-> Ten plus years as a Chemical Operations Manager
-> Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering
-> Knowledgeable of FDA process and procedures relative to job verticals
-> Successful management and training experience (6 Sigma a plus)
-> Excellent knowledge of Solids and Dissolution
-> Strong computer skills
-> Local candidates preferred (no relocation being offered)
