Leading-edge nuclear technology and services company providing services to utilities worldwide seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that projects meet the provisions in the company-wide Overall Quality Assurance Manual (OQAM) which describes the management system in use within the company to address the requirements of CAN/ CSA - N286.0-92. Must have working knowledge of QA standards and regulations in the nuclear/power industry. MUST be a Canadian citizen.

Responsibilities:

-> Provide support and guidance to Research & Technology Operations (RTOP) staff in developing and implementing Project QA plans and procedures
-> Provides support and guidance to RTOP staff in interpreting codes, standards and Corporate QA program requirements
-> Provide support and guidance to RTOP staff in interfacing with Clients, participants, contractors and regulators on quality matters
-> Delivery of formal training and daily information exchange with project staff will facilitate staff ability to adhere to OQAM and divisional Quality procedures and plans

Requirements:

-> Must be a Canadian Citizen
-> University graduation in engineering or applied science or equivalent experience resulting in a sound knowledge of some engineering speciality and a few years related working experience
-> Minimum 5 years experience in the QA field
-> Knowledge of the QA processes applicable to design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
-> Working knowledge of company organization structure, work processes and technology, Corporate QA program, CSA-N286 series of standards, ISO 9000 Standards, and CSA-Z299 standards
-> Experience interfacing with jurisdictional and regulatory authorities, and other such bodies, is an asset
